“Is that what you call hijab oh muslims a pair of trouses with shown body and a towel in the head that its not hijab go and read what hijab is !!!!… When the muslims are getting killed world wide , I wonder why the muslim nations are taking part in these kind of games?? :( putting the devils in chains’ means that their activity during the blessed month is (only) reduced, and that is why some Muslims sin during the month of Ramadan…”  from a sister on Facebook

I’m sorry I’m not looking for a fight here but I just have to say something cause I simply cannot believe my eyes right now.
First of all this argument coming from a sister about the hijab is highly offensive and rude towards these women. Why is there need to humiliate them like that saying that they show their body and have towels in their heads. Also I don’t see one bit skin showing anywhere. I believe these women know what they’re doing. We are living the times when the rest of the world sees muslim women as oppressed and inactive - these women are breaking down those stereotypes.
Also it is true muslims are being killed all over the world. And as horrible and heart breaking it is that’s the way it’s been always. We can’t just to sit at home and cry about it, but try to raise awareness and I think that’s what for example our brothers and sister from Palestine are doing. Also why haven’t I seen a single post moaning about muslim men taking part of this games? Isn’t there a double standard?
And if “some muslims”still sin during Ramadan that shouldn’t be anyone else’s business but themselves. A post like this isn’t going to prevent people from playing sports (If you count that as a sin) or doing other things. But if you feel like it is highly sinful, you should concentrate to make the most our of your Ramadan and stop bashing other people. Also nothing tells us not to be active and play sports during the blessed month.
All in all this post didn’t make sense in my opinion and I just wanted to give my two cents about it. Everyone has a right to opinion and of course because we are almost 2 billion muslims in the world and not all are going to agree. Also I want to say that my reply wasn’t directed to anyone specifically.
Peace.
